Welcome To F. Scott Service's Readings and Interviews Page

FUMFA Poets & Writers Live is a live online reading series and community of writers affiliated with the Fairfield University Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing led by Katherine "Katie" Schneider and Chris Belden.

The pair started FUMFA Poets & Writers Live as a way to help the Fairfield University MFA community stay connected during the Covid-19 pandemic.  The weekly livestreamed book readings have since expanded to include many special guests from outside the FUMFA family, as well as theme nights & open mics, all in an effort to keep the written/spoken word alive during this challenging time.
