FUMFA Poets & Writers Live is a live online reading series and community of writers affiliated with the Fairfield University Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing, led by Katherine "Katie" Schneider and Chris Belden. The duo launched FUMFA Poets & Writers Live to help the Fairfield University MFA community stay connected during the Covid-19 pandemic. These weekly livestreamed book readings have since expanded to feature many special guests beyond the FUMFA family, along with theme nights and open mics, all aimed at preserving the written and spoken word during these challenging times. This episode showcases talented poet Alison Woods and F. Scott Service, who is known for his engaging memoir writing.
